Frequently Asked Questions
Do I actually need Under Tape, or can I apply Rigid Tape directly to my skin?
Under Tape is the standard clinical approach used by physiotherapists. It allows longer wear, reduces skin irritation from the Rigid Tape adhesive, and makes removal far more comfortable.
How is this different from the cheap pre-wrap I can buy at the chemist?
Generic pre-wrap is non-adhesive and designed only as a barrier. Under Tape uses a medical-grade acrylic adhesive that stays secure during activity, so the Rigid Tape on top holds its correction without shifting.
How long can I wear the tape for?
Typically 2 to 3 days with normal activity. For longer wear, water exposure or active use, apply Tape Shield over the top to extend wear to up to 7 days.
Is this the same as Under Tape Sensitive?
No. Standard Under Tape uses an acrylic adhesive suited to most skin types. Under Tape Sensitive uses a silicone-based adhesive for delicate or reactive skin, with easier removal and no pulling.
