Product Details

The silicone adhesive is gentler than the acrylic adhesive in standard Under Tape, making Under Tape Sensitive suitable for sensitive or reactive skin.

It's also best suited to taping less mobile joints like shoulders, lower back, hips, and glutes. These joints don't require the firmer adhesive grip that the knee and other more mobile joints need to hold mechanical correction. For knee taping, use standard Under Tape.

Apply directly to skin, then layer Rigid Tape over the top.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from standard Under Tape?

Standard Under Tape uses a medical-grade acrylic adhesive for most skin types. Under Tape Sensitive uses a silicone-based adhesive formulated for delicate or reactive skin, and removes cleanly without pulling, even over hair.

Who should use this instead of standard Under Tape?

Choose Under Tape Sensitive if you have sensitive, reactive or older skin, hair in the area you are taping, or a history of reacting to acrylic-based tapes.

Can I use Under Tape Sensitive for knee taping?

Standard Under Tape is the better choice for the knee. The silicone adhesive is gentler by design, and the knee's range of motion requires the firmer acrylic grip to hold mechanical correction securely.

What joints is Under Tape Sensitive best suited for?

Larger, less mobile joints such as shoulders, lower back and glutes. These joints require less adhesive firmness to hold correction, and silicone removes far more comfortably on reactive or fragile skin anywhere on the body.
